In 2011, Viktor Devonne conceived The Gilman Hotel, and with Femme Fae la Butche directed a burlesque show at a New Jersey convention based on an entirely original mythology. It was a fully realized burlesque play by White Elephant Burlesque for 1 room of attendees.
The burlesque show (known as The Dead Sexy Hotel), which was very successful, featured noted regional burlesque performers such as Regina Stargazer, Holly Ween, Esmerelda May, Lilith Lore, Dolly Shot, Little Miss Rollerhoops, and more, and ran for 1 single exclusive night.
It was important to Viktor to keep the story alive, and he developed a found-footage style dossier of events from the 100+ year timeline and expand it. Released as snippets, and starring a voice cast of burlesque and nightlife performers, 2 Night Stay continues the Gilman legend.
The purpose of this blog is relate the events and snippets in written format to follow along, out-of-character and connect the dots.
